House Harkonnen - Feyd-Rautha by freakyfir House Harkonnen - Feyd-Rautha by freakyfir
For this assignment, we could pick one of the three houses found in Frank Herbert's Dune and re-imagine them in our own way. I picked House Harkonnen, and imagined the family to have Yakuza-like influences, living in a polluted neo-Tokyo type of city.

I kinda liked Feyd-Rautha's character (as portrayed by Sting in David Lynch's movie). I imagined him to be sleek, slim, sneaky and good with blades.

Feyd-Rautha is my favorite Harkonnen evildoer. If I ever do my own Feyd-Rautha fan art, he will be sly and handsome with spiky red hair.

Nice interpretation of Feyd-Rautha; a graceful dancer yet also a ruthless killer. While the name "Harkonnen" sounds like something Germanic or Slavic, this Japanese version of the house works terrific.

In the books, Feyd was a disciplined, lean guy who would never allow himself to get fat. This is perfect image for him. I love the Yakuza look for him because it gives him some ninja feel without it feeling out of place or weird. I love this stuff :)
