Landshark Hoverbike by freakyfir Landshark Hoverbike by freakyfir
Here's Flint Cooper's ride; the Landshark. It's a standard-issue hoverbike for marshals of all sectors to traverse the peculiar terrain of our yet-to-be-name planet. Played around with some broken planets/asteroid field in the distant background and adding a little bit of green for peculiarity. Not sure if all that worked, but I've already wasted too much time on this.

Anyway, I think my entire approach to image-making doesn't seem efficient. In fact, I always feel it's wrong. I gotta rethink my process and finishing.

This is a great piece. I love the design for the hover bike.

While I have absolutely NO experience with performing digital artistry, on the other hand from my experiences as an omnivore-dilettante your work shows great promise and progress, little by little. Efficiency be damned, that comes with time. Efficiency is a matter for industry or calculated survival, neither of which is conducive to performing art in any form. I personally like the mugginess and abstraction that comes with the piece, from the background. It gives a sense of an unusual, need I say alien?, and unforgiving background overwhelming with dust and brutal wind, justification for Flint's garb and mask. I can imagine him cussing at having to clean out the dust and pebbles from every crevice and intake of his Landshark, a device whose bold look and design were meant for more rural farming planets, and not the harsh conditions of Sector 13. An oversight of central law enforcement and their contractors- no dust shield for the intake!

What game is this for? You mention that its a project but not the name of the game itself.
Great looking image btw.
